United, Virgin America, and Frontier have announced upcoming service changes from KIA. United will reduce service to Cleveland by reducing the weekly number of flights by 6, from 20 to 14. They will keep the 9:45am and 1:00pm daily departures but end the 5:15pm flight that arrives just after midnight in Cleveland. This flight will end later this month. Frontier is ending both of their flights to Milwaukee; they have not been profitable for them in many months. However, Frontier will begin new service to Cleveland to make up for United decreasing service there. Frontier's service changes will also take effect later this month. Virgin America has also announced that they will begin service to Dallas-Love Field starting this fall. There will be one daily flight that will compete with Southwest's already existing twice daily service to Love Field.
